English Premier League GameWeek 1 Prediction: The wait is finally over for the football fans around the globe as English Premier League returns to action for another exciting season of football. We can expect a gruesome fight for the trophy with Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool looking to be in a much better shape compared to previous seasons.

Match 1: Burnley vs Manchester City

The new boys of the English Premier League, Burnley under the management of former EPL winner Kompany will be looking to start their comeback to EPL in a similar fashion to the way they ended their championship run. On the other hand, the treble winners, Manchester City will be looking to start the title defense on a high when they visit Burnley in the opening fixture of the season. They have strengthened their squad with the addition of Kovacic being a shrewd signing and they didn’t shy away from spending more than 80 million pounds for Gvardiol to boost their defense.

Willian has signed an extension despite offers from other clubs but the major challenge for the Cottagers is to find another striker with Mitrovic getting offers from the middle east.
